About us

First visit

If your dentist took a panoramic x-ray please bring it with you at the first consultation. Otherwise, we will be able to take one at our office for a minimum cost. 2.

We strongly recommend an early orthodontic treatment , when necessary, for our younger patients. Proper orthodontic care at a young age can facilitate a healthy smile and healthy gums, as well as the growth and development of a proportionally balanced face.

Braces create small ledges, nooks and crannies for food deposits, which can lead to cavities and gum problems. This makes brushing your teeth and flossing even more important while you are wearing braces.

In case of injury to your mouth or your teeth, whether undergoing orthodontic care or not, you should be seen by your dentist as soon as possible.

While you are wearing braces, you can eat most of your favorite foods. Please stay away from these troublemakers.Sticky foods like gum, taffy and caramelsHard foods like apples and carrots (cut them into pieces)Crunchy foods like, popcorn and nutsEating fewer sweets helps fight cavities.

Without exception, all patients in our practice go through the retention phase of treatment.Retention begins when the braces are removed. If the teeth are not maintained in their corrected position, they will begin to move over a period of time.

Step 1;  Take 2 pieces of dental floss and a spacer.Step 2;  Pass the dental floss in the center of the spacer (shapes like a donut) hold steadily between your fingers.

  • Orthodontics is a dental specialty which aims to prevent, diagnose and treat facial and dental irregularities, such as malocclusions (bad bites).Orthodontic treatements help to achieve  an adequate equilibrium between teeth, lips and facial features.

  • A Rapid Maxillary Expander (RME) is for patients whose upper jaw is narrow. It gently widens the upper arch (palate) by stretchingthe center palatal connective suture. Once widened, the suture knits together.

  • Class II orthodontic problems represent abnormal bite relationships in which the upper jaw and teeth project from the lower jaw called an "overjet". Class II patients usually exhibit a convex facial profile with a deficient chin prominence.
